I really like jets and science fiction, so you'll probably see a lot of that on this website.

For this I used a combination of 3D modeling to get the perspective of the jet correct, and matte painted over it. So I would consider this a matte as much as an illustration, even though there are considerably less 3D elements painted in than 2D ones.
